Interesting site that seems to have info re webCams as well.
Checking the "added by" user ( shark87 re Mosselbay for example see that the upper and lower cable car stations on Table mountain have webCams)

No flying there today! Or is it just the camera that is so hazy?

This needs to be stuck up somewhere permanent on Avcom and kept up to date - like the Avcom SOS list in the Academy. It's a great resource.

Yeah, you'll see the weather station is also stuck in the distant past. From clubhouse chatter the other day it sounded like the internet connection is perhaps flaky - I'll see if I can dig up a solution.

Flew up on Sunday to a private farm east of Hoedspruit from FAKR in the 152 on Sunday with a return today.

The Hoedspruit civil flying club has a great webcam on their website showing good views of the escarpment, these up to date within 10 minutes images were extremely helpful, as they say a pic is worth a thousand words! Good on the flying club providing this useful info.=D> =D>
Wish there were more of these cams available as they are really safety enhancing. http://www.hoedspruitcivil.co.za/webcam.htm

Also fantastic service from Jaco, supplying some Avgas at a very reasonable deal, thank you squire! :D

(sorry, I wasn't aware of this thread, so I posted on another)
The Hoedspruit Flying Club Website (Hoedspruit Civil Airfield, FAHT) now shows four webcams, updated every 10 mins compliments of Radio Active Telecommunications.

Two at Hoedspruit Civil showing local conditions and a view of the escarpment from below.
One on Mariepskop looking SW
One on Hanna Mountain near Burgersfort looking W at the high ground

Very useful for route information Highveld <--> Hoedspruit.
