Good luck James and Matt.

If anyone asks me about the high wing low wing preference, I always say that a high wing fits nicely through a farm gate in the Kalahari.

Now consider, dear reader: if <you> were going to fly <your> brand-new aeroplane from RSA to USA and then (presumably) fly home again, would you return by the same route (boring!)...or...might you consider a RTW routing -- especially when you have done it a couple of times already (and hence its becoming habitual? I think James has thus far made no reference to his intention regarding this question, has he?

I can hardly wait to hear what further adventures these intrepid types have planned! :D

Quote James on oage 1

• The planned route looks like this (though it’s open to such changes as may be required to dodge Covid, storms, unreasonable authorities and the like): JHB – Ondangwa (Namibia) – Accra (Ghana) – Praia (Cape Verde) – Charnocks (Barbados) – Fort Pierce (Florida, USA) – Oshkosh (Wisconsin, USA).

Oh yes i like this one very much! It is like the challenge of the lifetime and i have always wanted to get to that level at the very least. I have been working out on that one for a long time and since there is not much to go along with, maybe I could at least try it too.

Saw Pilot Bambi's latest video which was about a visit to the Sling Factory. All I can say is Wow. Everything manufactured in house. A world class facility with word class aeroplanes. Well done to the team and Good luck with the flight. I will definitely be following the flight!
