DETAILS OF CRASHED AIRCRAFT

Unread post by Funflier » Sat May 14, 2022 3:00 pm

Hi everybody. I am looking for a picture of ZS-KTX, The Piper Navajo that had a midair with a SAAF Merlin in 1982. I need to establish the correct colour scheme of this aircraft for a painting depicting the accident. Any assistance with this will be appreciated. Kindly contact me on this forum or by WA on oh-83 641 7730. The attached pic represents this aircraft, but is simply not clear enough...

Good morning "Funflier",

Yes I can give you much or most of what you require. We imported that aircraft at Placo and I flew it myself a couple of times.

You are welcome to give me a call at your convenience - 082 893 5744.

I looked through all the cabinets and files we have - sorry to say 'KTX is one of few aircraft Dave did not have images of and I could find nothing bar the clippings of the collision.
