Gerhard my advies is, pak daai kaferbyter in n boks en stuur hom vir Goose1. Betaal maar eerder n regte expert om dit presies en reg te doen............lewe het nie n pricetag nie. 8-[

Het Saterdag die vergasser oopgemaak, weereens nagegaan, float so effens gestel, al die ander goed is ok, so `n bietjie slytasie op die butterfly.
Het die spul vanoggend weer terug gesit en `n ander tenk gebruik as brandstof tenk met `n ander elektriese brandstof pomp en `n filter. ....maar die engin loop nog rof, moet nou se eers hier van 2800 rpm af. Andre Du Plessis reken dat daar te veel brandstof ingespuit word. Ek het die vergasser nou weer afgehaal, en vir Andre gegee om na te gaan.

Andre het vir my twee Stromberg CD175 vergassers wat sal pas op die airie. Ek moet net gaan kyk of dit onder die "cowl" sal pas. Sal so `n aanpassing soos Craig moet doen.

Die koper floats, op die MA3, begin soms lek...... Dit kan ook dalk jou Magneto of vonkpropdrade wees. Start jou enjin in die donker en kyk of jy enige vuur sien wat verlore gaan. Is daar 'n Megneto toetsbank naby julle? Indien nie kan jy die magneto op 'n draaibank toets. Wanneer die maneto 'n sekere konstante spoed loop behoort die vonk lengte dieselfde vir elke koord te wees. Ondervinding het my geleer dat die vergasser die laaste plek is om 'n fout te soek.

Willie, die vergasser het nie koper floats nie.

Ek het die engin in die donker geswaai en alles lyk normaal. Let wel, ek het plugs uitgedraai, en bo op engin gele, en engin geswaai. Ons dink dat dit defenitief brandstof verwant is. Nadat ek veranderings gedoen het, loop die engin beter, maar begin sy nonsens op 2800rpm. Die vergasser "overfuel" beslis.

Die magneto is removed and now to see if anything is wrong with it. It can only be with the magneto. If not, i am buying matches.....................

Die magneto is by Eddie. Hy het vir my gese dat die kondenser gegaan het en dat die magneet nie so sterk is soos dit moet wees nie. Ek wag nog nou maar in spanning vir die finale uitslag. So Jean, dit lyk asof dit wel die magneto was wat die sondebok is!

Wel, Eddie het laat weet dat die magneto se kondenser wel daarmee heen is. Hy kan dit ook nie regmaak nie aangesien die magneto te oud is en hy nie parte daarvoor het nie (dit is `n magneto wat regsom draai).

Ek sal nou maar `n elektroniese stelsel insit, en ek wil nie `n vonkprop verdeler insit met so `n knop op die cowling nie. [-X . Nou vir die groot soek.....soos die voorbeeld..
