I am busy with a raven project. Will post some pics and a bit of information at a later stage. Putting in a VW reduction drive. However looking for some unidentified engine mount rubber "grommets". Refer to the attached images. Innter diameter approximately 3/4inch or +/- 19 mm. 3/4 inch chrome moly tubing fits snug into the "grommet". Any guess on where one can get hold of these rubbers. Have no idea where the rubbers came from so any input/guidance will be highly appreciated. Tx!

Update Raven projects.

I will be posting on 3 Raven projects to share some performance figures and general info that may help some. Will probably be asking more than posting so please any criticism or help will be appreciated.

Raven 1 Herman Project Parys: Revmaster R2300 80 cont and 85 take-off HP plus a bit due to 4-into-1 SS exhaust ordered, looking forward. Planned first test flight End August, lets see if it is achievable. :D So far Joe from Revmaster and Jean from aerokits exceptional service!!
Raven 2 Herman and Pierre Project Klerksdorp: VW 2.1l with reduction drive fitment underway. Hopefully they can test-flight in 3-4 weeks time here.
Raven 3 Dirk Project Parys: Revmaster R2100D Turbo received and in hangar, will be going to Jean for inspection and start-up / test run and (possibly to replace current 2.4VW, although perfect so will probably first compare and then decide). R2100DT 80HP at 32" manifold pressure with take-off manifold pressure 34-36" with 85-87 HP.

Will hopefully have some nice specs/confirmations/comparisons within the next 3-4 months.

Will forward some eye-candy in the next week or so.

Herman`s engine is well underway at the Revmaster factory, we are busy developing the firewall forward for him now. One set for his new R2300 engine , and the other for his Dad`s R2100 Turbo engine. I will post some fotos here in the future for those that are interested.
