Cessna 172 Engines.

Unread post by gerhardsteenkamp » Fri Jan 30, 2015 7:29 pm

Evening all,

Was hoping someone could shed light on a subject for me? What are the implications if you want to install a different engine in an aircraft that is also listed on the Aircrafts Type Data Sheet, but the engine wanting to be installed is not on the TDS for the specific model aircraft that you have. What if the engine is on the same Type Data Sheet from the Manufacturer(Engine manufacturer).

Any replies appreciated.

I am confused as I am pretty sure you could use it instead of the A/B? Contact Pete here on AvCom, he will be able to guide you.
