We have both a normally aspirated 210L & Turbo 210R. The following seems to work everytime for me on a hot start

Throttle closed,Mixture idle cutoff
Run pump for approx 90 sec
Full rich
Keep pumping until sufficient pressure
Start cranking & Slowly advance throttle
Fires everytime

Hope this helps

1) Mixture full rich, full throttle
2) Fuel pump on "high" for a few seconds, until you get some fuel flow
3) Fuel pump off
4) Mixture to idle cut-off
5) Crank the engine with one hand on the throttle
6) The moment the engine fires, reduce the throttle to idle
7) Advance the mixture to full rich
8) Once you have oil pressure, lean the mixture for taxi

It works every time...
I must say I've been flying C210's for 7 years and this method has always worked the best for me.
