Hi guys

I have established that the registration that my Fairchild used to wear, is now worn by a Cessna 185. anyone know anything about ZS-BLP? I was hoping to be able to use the same, but clearly it seems to be taken. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi there guys, I'm busy building my 1/72 scale Cessna 185. Would love to know what the interior colours were in the SAAF days.

If you have pictures or info regarding the interior colours, it would be much appreciated. Especially seats and side panels.

Thanx

Hi Bossie! I have no photgraphs of C185's, but i have some info on the whereabouts of ZS-JLV. It is currently in Hangar 5 at Rand Airport. It is in pieces, my nephew bought the aircraft a few years back and is planning to restore it. I will try to get pictures of that on this thread asap. I will be at Rand again tomorrow.

I don't know what it is, but a tail dragger with some boots on just looks like a real plane.

Love it!

What happened to those 185's that SAAF wanted to sell without paperwork?

Hi guys. I'm planning a build of a SAAF C185, the markings seem quite inconsistent. There are pics of the kasteel on the fus sides and bottom of the wings, were the serials '735' or '716' ever on the bottom of the wings and were the kasteels on the tops of the wings?

Thanks.
