Airfoilabs King Air 350 Xplane

Unread post by Christo » Sat Apr 27, 2019 9:24 pm

Bought it yesterday. Mixed thoughts. Very much a Aeroworx (wassit?) B200 feel to it, if you liked it you will like this one. Played with it for a short time and already had weird oscillation with the AP in altitude hold mode.
Due to the price increase in ammunition, do not expect a warning shot.

Sig Sauer, kinda like Glock except for men.

Nobody bought it?

I went cold turkey on FSX and P3D (yes, I lost a sh!tload of payware) and after a recent discussion with a 737 pilot and especially go arounds was keen to go see what he said was implemented that way in PMDG. Thought by this time PMDG would have converted something to xplane yet (yes, I know about the DC6) but then I remembered, it's PMDG and things happen at snails pace over there. :?

Now looking to buy FJS 732 Pro (love the 727!!) and getting the Zibo mod 737

I've watched a couple of reviews on YouTube.

It looks like an amazing aircraft to fly. Definitely on my Wishlist.

My oscillation problem was sorted by setting all sensitivity augmentation in the controls setup to 0%. The AP was smooth as silk after that. Did a quick takeoff from PE and flown OKSET 2A SID (or that is what simplates calls it) with the AP just after wheels up. No issues at all!
