Piper lans

Unread post by johannes1 » Sun May 30, 2010 6:52 pm

I Can get a lanc 6 seater for R800 000. I'm currently flying a C182 and wants to know if the high back wing handles difficult in flight. I need to upgrade to a 6 seater and like the double doors at the back as well as the clubseating. Do'nt want to make a mistake. Is a piper lans the right choice. help?

T-tail Turbo Lance is the worst aeroplane I have ever flown, straight tail (non turbo) is underpowered.

Every dog needs a home and every home needs a dog (or two or three).

Read the article in the November or December SA Flyer. John Miller tests the normal tail Lance and discusses the T-Tail version as well. Horrible short-field performance as well.

Hi , I fly a piper lance t tail , and also heard all the comments before buying mine ,but decided to test fly it , its like any other plane or car , you learn to fly it. We went to Bilene , 5 people ,baggage , and half fuel, runway 690m,landing no problem and take off no problem. Do a test flight and decide then.
