Goeie raad van my kant af, moet nooit 'n vliegtuig in 'n hanger start nie.
Ek kan jou baie dinge vertel wat al verkeerd gegaan het .

:D Dankie Niel, mmmm! Glo my van daai dinge het al so een of twee met my gebeur   For the ease of mind to fellow Avcommers, when i took the foto of my aeroplane`s engine running in the w/shop.......there was ONLY myself there, and the motor was at slow idle of 750RPM :D Added to that the stick was pulled to up-elevator and the safety belt hooked over the stick  8) But yes Sonerai is so right...not a good idea to start aircraft in hangar............unless you are an aircraft builder and it is in your w/shop

Thats the spirit boys!!

It just nice to see what guys actually get up to in their workshops, and what the workshops look like. Do yourselves a favour - have a look at the link in my first post. I know its garage stuff, but thats exactly where most guys start building. You have to see what some of those garages and workshops look like - and yes, in some cases its Yanky overkill - but I guess they have it all close at hand, so why not.

Jaa, Never feel shy about your workshop. It takes years to build up and so what if you are just getting started. Its a cool place to hang out, fiddle on stuff, build things and hag out with some mates and a six pack on a friday afternoon. Nice space there JT, and some nice aeries being worked on. I suppose if I had the same amount of space I would clutter it up fairly quickly.

Will keep you posted when I start to build my plane ... soon soon now.

Sorry Lads,

Have just been flying quite a bit the last few days and have not gotten chance to get the photos. Will make a point, to take a few tomorrow morning, when the other half's car is not taking up space (and I have given the shop a quick sweep   )

But, am enjoying seeing what the Avcom Builders get up to!! Anybody looked at Garage Journal site??

Yeah, looked at the site and there are some interesting pix. But, speaking for myself I am more impreseed with what comes out of a workshop than what goes into it or how clean the floor is. And if it is only a parking space for an expensive toy then ... jaaa well fine, anyone can buy an image, but only a craftman can produce something that impresses.

Well, I am still confined to the garage - unlike other lucky lads in here....

But, I am slowly making my workshop habitable for the very slow progress of a Bearhawk 4 place.

So, there you have my space!! no excuses to anybody else!!!
