VV, we entered in December, and received confirmation by e-mail from them. Not sure why the website is down, but the confirmation email address is admin@airrace.co.bw

I don't know if they are going to be accepting more entries, they put a limit of 75 entries and they already trying to accommodate
the waiting list of crews by adding additional slots.

Also the venue has changed to Sowa Pan due to the heavy rains.

I see there are 90 entrants so far. I was talking a friend yesterday who has entered and he told me of the venue change. I'll google the new venue.

I wouldn't mind flying up merely to be present and be part of the "fun" but not sure I'd like to race. I was pretty well red faced as a trained navigator . . . . :D :D

NEVER follow anyone and that we did on the very last sector on the last day over the pan - and they too hoped to see the finishing post . . . . but didn't. Oh my word was I embarrassed. Ross - are you reading this???

Entry fees paid :D
They are building a runway in the pans. Apparently it is near SOWA Pan's tar runway.
So the first challenge is to find the new runway.

I am still waiting for my invoice

I like he attitude of "building" a runway especially for an air race.

But from what i read above it would let me believe that one person not to trust to get us there is Horace
