Pilots are welcome to visit us at Springbok airfield on the weekend of 15-17 March 2019.
Arrivals from Friday 15/03/2019
Transport between airfield to town by local club members and taxi service numbers will also be available. Some of the guesthouse will assist with transport.
Unfortunately no Avgas or Mogas on the airfield available but arrangements were made with Berto at Dundi Lodge (Augrabies) for the Gauteng aircraft and Jannie at Vredendal for Western Cape aircraft to have fuel available. Rodney at Kleinzee can also be contacted for Avgas.
Accomodation can be selected from a number of guest houses, lodges, etc. (Google). PM/email me for more info if required.
On Saturday pilots can fly to Dundi Lodge and visit Augrabies (group arrangements can be made for transport to the park) as well as some coast flying, Hondeklipbaai, Kleinzee, etc.
Friday and Saterday evenings we will have a social event on the airfield.
During the weekend the club facility will be open for snacks and drinks and there will be an area where everybody can sitdown and 'kuier'.
For those that will be on the airfield during Saturday there will be a fire, braaipacks and salad.
