PPL Renewal - Somethings Missing ?

Unread post by Matty_Wings » Thu Nov 29, 2018 1:35 pm

Hi Guys (and girls)

I did my PPL competency and renewal in July of this year and received the usual stack of the papers which go into the brown book. One of my flight schools recently pointed out to me that one of the papers have not been included in my renewal stack, this page is right at the back of the book, page XIII "Expiry Dates", i never received the updated one and the current one there is still last year's expired one, This is the first time i have noticed this as i haven't flown since my renewal.

It would appear that my renewal has been logged correctly on their system which also reflects on the A4 printout i received (picture attached) however i was never issued with the last and updated XIII "Expiry Date" page. This poses a problem as it appears to the flight schools that i am not actually competent and therefore may not fly.

Is there anybody who could perhaps advise on how i can get this sorted ?

Thank you =D>

But the perforations split an A4 page so if it has not been removed then surely its a case of it did not print. These printing issues are common like for example the shaded block of each license is miss aligned on just about all licenses.

Did you perhaps try contacting someone from part 61 ?

on the caa site you can look up the name and contact info for the key members of personel licensing.
If you drop them a mail, they will generally respond in a reasonable time.
It looks like a page dropped off the list, it shouldn't be difficult to correct.

I would rather recommend going there in person. They are extremely helpful and will be able to assist you in no time.
