You had arrived if you owned one of them

the rest of us "plebs" had RD350's and CB550's and CB750's

Can't believe the price though...seems for the "right" crowd, these Z1300 Kawa's are now the new investment gold

I wish the seller GLWS, but yikes - inflation!
I distinctly remember radio advertising from 1983, for a particular Suzuki sales campaign - "make like a snake and hiss off to your nearest Suzy dealer", or such-like. Brand new Katana 1000s - yes, the desirable, limited-build one with flat-slide carbs and spoked wheels - were R3000.

Mind you, in $ or GBP terms, this Z13 is not a bad deal at all!
