Well done! the first thing in a long time that has made opening the newsletter worthwhile - guys lets have more of this, great informative reviews and articles on information / knowledge gaining.

We only used to get 6 copies a year. I was sent an email regarding advertising space.

Well they certainly took the whole News costing debacle to heart.

Other than alienating themselves from their members, there are now no costs to worry about either

Like I said right at the beginning. I used to sit and read the Newsletter - old and new, every morning while having the daily dump. I refuse to take my PC on that yourney. So I said cheers to it right at the onset. Guess I was not wrong

For those tab readers, wait till you hit the sixties then that tab is useless even with large fonts.

SAMAA lyk vir my al hoe meer soos die ou gesegde: Hoe meer haas, hoe minder spoed - of het hulle maar net aangepas by die "nuwe" regering - hoe meer vergaderings, hoe meer mense word benodig om dit by te woon, hoe langer neem die vergaderings en hoe minder word verrig met die gevolg dat meer mense aangestel word om die agterstallige werk te doen wat weer op sy beurt daartoe lei dat die vergaderings groter word ens.ens.ens.ens.

From a business perspective this is NOT ON.

Any advert placed that were for instance applicable before a certain date or intended to sell off stock at special prices or to get to market first before someone else jumps on the bandwagon and so on are meanigless with the way it is done now. By the time the reader receives an issue the advertt is irrelevant.

I think SAMAA management do a rethink of this and they may start attracting more dealer revenues again.

IMHO, If I was a dealer I wouldn't bother advertising in SAMAA, I cannot see any benefit with such inconsistancy.
