Unread post by Gary Lees » Mon Oct 24, 2011 12:15 pm

Good day All,

We have final arrangements in place. The SIGs (Special Interest Groups) will be conducting their display from 11h00 to 13h00 and 14h00 to 16h00. The Barnstormers Club will be conducting airshow displays from 08h00 to 11h00, 13h00 to 14h00 and the from 16h00 to late.

We would like to invide SAMAA Silver, Gold and better pilots to join us in presenting a magnificent display for the public and to assist in raising money for SAMAA to help control/reduce the SAMAA membership fees. If you have not been contacted by you/a SIG to partake, please contact Gary Lees 082 566 5007 of garylees@vodamail.co.za so that I can arrange for you invitation to take part.

I look forward to your response.

Kind Regards

Gary Lees

Gary,

I am sure that we can demonstrate some UAVs - aka electric planes running on 12S lipos! That would also include the 90 size electric choppers ;-)

Regards,

Andre

Good day all,
The SAMAA arishow at Barnstormers is this Sunday 06 November.
The general display flying will start at 08h00. All pilots who are not flying in the SIG slots will be allocated time slots on Sunday morning so that we can put the show together and ensure that there is a display on the go all the time.

In term of the gate entry, please not that all vehicles coming into Barnstormers will be required to pay R30-00 per car on entry. Pilots will be given lunch and drink vouchers at the registration and should you wish, your R30-00 will be refunded at the SAMAA registration. The reason for this is to prevent non participants from entering without paying and this is a fund raising event for SAMAA.

I hope you will all be happy with the arrangement and will not cause any inconvenience.

Please note that Saturday 05 November will be an open day at Barnstormers so that anyone wishing to fly and get used to the surroundiongs is welcome.

I look forward to seeing you all there.
