Hi guys

She has not flown yet (getting old lying in the hanger), CAA are busy deciding who should be capable of test flying her. I have done a conversion on to the Waiex / Sonex, so im ready to go. Im hoping to get her into the air soon.
I will post the details the day she flys.

Cheers
Jonathan

Hi Rudi

Still fine tuning, she has not had her official test flight yet. This should happen in the next 2-3 weeks. Battling to get the qualified person, test pilot rated with a sonex on there licence, in PMB. I will send pic's and info once it happens.

Cheers

ZU-ONX was test flown by Mr Rob Heard on 20 june 2014.
Report was that she flys well, good flying characteristics, easy to fly, docile on the stall (37kts with flaps). Cruise speed 105-115kts ias @ 4500ft. Max cliimb rate 650-700ft/m. Aerovee ran well. Takeoff run @2400ft 200m, landing 150m. Ground handling is good, feels solid on the ground after three point landing. Very light on the controls.
