4 Days no rain, but the dew is like a small rain shower every morning and only burns off by around 10 am. A chance to unload container.

Hope a few SAFFERS from Auckland, Aardmore, Hamilton Taupau, bump into this tread.Lion, are you well ? Mike Tango?

Hugo.

Hi Hugo, sorry man - haven't been on Avcom for many moons (bl@@dy wintertime in NZ - we all crawl into our holes, eh?)

Lion shifted across to Brisbane a few months ago, I am still in Auckland but haven't been down your neck of the woods for a looong time. Will try & make a plan come sunnier times - a mate has a bach at Waihi so I might talk SWMBO into a long weekend down there.

Awesome to see later on in the thread that the Alo's have arrived! Good luck with the mud - that will still be around for a while unfortunately, but hopefully come summertime & you're airworthy it's all good. When those machines are flying, make a plan to come visit us at North Shore!!

Cheers, Johann

Thank You Mike Tango, yes is a struggle, the mud but seems I have found the product to give it a hiding. Now it is straight forward and give the top half of the property a layer of the stuff. Going to cost between $ 30 000 and $ 50 000 but is ok, part of the budget, buying price of the property and will improve the property selling price. Then home repairs and revamping.

Alo waiting for CAA. Few minor things to do then it is ready to fly, such as put fuel in the tank. Might sound silly but we have to get fuel cart and all that go with it.
Good will look you up when going to Wahi.
Cheers

Enjoy it Hugo, they are nice (but expensive) machines to fly. Just watch it, unlike the Alo, they are a bit fragile!
