The last pic was meant to show the build quality - the clearances between spinner and cowling are mere millimeters, and all the joints (esp between the top and bottom cowlings) are absolutely immaculate!
Gravity sucks.
Gravity never loses - the best you can hope for is a draw.

There's no doubt about it, this aircraft seems to be extremely well built.

Have only had the cam for a day (but have taken over 500 pix on it!!) so I know I have a lot to learn.

Traditionally we spend Boxing day out at Bara ... pity that there was a strong wind blowing from the South ... however, visibility was unbelievable.

Please feel free to crit the pix ..... (except bouncy bouncy .. I did not take it)

I will use photobucket in future but it seems to be down at the mo!

All taken on full auto  ... with Sigma 70-300 and the std Canon 55mm on a Canon 350D.

I will start weaning myself off the auto mode ... as time goes by.

Thanks Mike,

Now you can give me some pics of the Comanche's living at FASY too! The old Auster really looks very nice!

The Tiger was a tad difficult with the light I think, but we will have to wait for the experts to advise you how to best bring out the colors on that one! I still have to take time and money to buy and learn photoshop!

Waiting for the Comanche's

Millions of great photo opportunities today due to the near perfect weather but I missed them all as I chose to join in the fun rather than spend the whole day clicking away.

So here are just a few boring, unimproved/unedited (besides the size) anorak shots just to show you a few of the airies that were out and about at my 2nd home:

I used to own a share in this C150 some time back. One of only 2 nose wheel a/c I have any time on:

Super Cub visiting from Heidelberg (I think). Pristine!!:

Neat little VP1

CVH’s Aeronca made a rare appearance today. In fact I think this is the first time I have seen it fly … but as I was flying at the same time, I did not get photographic evidence of the event.
