Not quite at stellenbosch, but did a bit of work in the air today.
Havent flown for a while since the welkom disaster and it was great to be back in the saddle. Took a safety pilot with to help with the rusty nut and it was great. Im BACK :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ray, yes, AYC is still at FASH.... but the owners now also got a Super Cub to play with :P

I believe CAV is a Navion Rangemaster - but stand to be corrected by the experts out there!

Spent some time at FASH in the Rangemaster. Unfortunately with a mechanical problem.
My compliments to the Stellenbosch guys: I've never seen so many well kept and maintained airies anywhere. Pictures all of them!!

Yup, lots of TLC at FASH...the Albat even got a sponge bath on Sunday....

Noticed all the comotion around the nose wheel after your arrival.

Bird Strike on Prop

If you look closely, there's a long thin white stripe eminating from the tip op the blade, assisted by gravity to the spinner.... :lol:

Sorry, if you really look closely, you'll see i'm talking white stripes!

It is beautiful especially this time of year...rain clears the sky...

These shots where taken around 5.30 - 6pm this afternoon, sun was a bit low...

But theres always a tomorrow... :wink:
