This sounds really exciting - living in Mozambique has it's challenges, sure, but I have been here 5 years now, and am really happy here.
Where is Safari Air Africa based?

What a great opportunity, this will give someone the step up that they need. I wish all the candidates good luck. 206 is good flying, and the airvan, never flew one but heard they are nice machines

If I had the hours I would have certainly applied.

Good day all,

Applications are now closed and shortlisted candidates have been contacted. I am happy to say we received in the region of 90 applicants.

Just some feedback/few tips for sending CV's in the future:

1.) Please check for spelling mistakes not only on your CV but in your email as well.
2.) Follow instructions given, ie. Subject line for the email or format to be sent.
3.) Check your CV again for spelling and make sure it is addressed to the correct company.
4.) Try and keep your CV to an 1 page format, not 15 pages. Well laid out and easy to read CV's will score you points.
5.) We do accept speculative applications, however when minimum requirements are put in they are there for a reason.
6.) If you insist on including a picture on your CV, which is perfectly acceptable, use a professional photograph and not one looking suave and extra cool with aviators leaning on a propeller, for example.
7.) Send the email from your personal email account and not that of your mother, friend or ex girlfriend. If your email account is mortalkombatmaster69@gmail.com, it is time to a get proper email address.
8.)We already know that you are hard-working, reliable and a team player. We also know that you are excellent at communicating and that you work well under pressure. Instead, briefly explain how this holds true with you.
9.) Citing your religions views, how many scout awards you have achieved (most companies expect that you can tie a knot and light a fire) or outlining that your PPL subjects comprised Air Law, AT&G and Principles of Flight is superfluous and truly not necessary.
10.) If you feel that a supporting document will be advantageous in your application, ensure that it is scanned the right way up. Again, a PDF would be appreciated.

Just a small comment here, if you're asking for 1 page, you should ask for a Resume. A CV is typically very long and detailed document, for a professional with a few years in his/her field that could mean a 20 page document.

A Resume is a brief summary of your skills and experiences over 1 or 2 pages.

Any chance I can still send in my CV?
I am a CPL pilot with an IR. I have completed my ATPL examinations and have over 100 hours on a C206.

Thanks in advance.
