If the rear fuse is built from lighter spruce of such it would fly well on a 90FS, the frame is quite light even using the heavy cotton.
The dowls for the rear fuse just makes it extremely tail heavy

Done and dusted, ready for instelation in restaurant.
I am especially happy with the way that the fabric has the slight "blotchy" look to it. The old cotton would absorb the dope slightly more in some areas and it would pool under the fabric giving it a slight difference in look.
I just need to make the "prop nut"

I am sure this aerie would fly nicely if the rear fuse is made from lighter wood. The whole airframe only weighs 2,7kg.

Will see if the client needs more :)

If I were to build a flying one it would have spruce and balsa rear fuse and I would not use the cotton to cover it, rather shrink fabric.

But I have a few 1/2 built projects to get to first....PT17, Spitty, DHC1, HE 162............

Thanx Chris. :)
Before someone thinks my hand slipped when driling the crankcase for the pushrods that don't line up, that is how they are staggered on the real one

Congrats on the completion of this super model, I know that this will be talked about long into the night at its new home. I for one, can't wait to see it in the restaurant, and I know the owner can't wait either.
Skills like yours and a couple of the "old school" modellers are few and far between, which is sad, but the reality of a world caught up in mass production
Hope to meet sooner than later,
