I finally have covering on this bird, fin, rudder and stab covered. Today elevators :wink:

I've decided that I'll cover the fuselage in Tex as well, it'll be a hell of a lot faster than tissue n sanding sealer method.

I've made good progress with Snow White. Tail feathers all covered.

I made up the leg fairings from two lamination's of 6mm balsa...found a good sheet but broke my heart to have to cut it...where does one find balsa at this price today...it's already over R40 a sheet of 1/16/1.5mm #-o :roll: :?

Then the spats I laminated from a 20mm center core, 6mm balsa each side of that and 3mm ply outers.

Hatch was done with magnets at rear and hatch catch front.

Now I'm busy with MAJOR workshop sort n clean...been 4 days n not half way yet. Once done more building will take place as I'll have my work benches back 8-[

Sorry, haven't been on for some time Richard, but yeah, will let you know, maiden will be filmed, same as the Valkyrie was :wink:

Only thing I've done here is laminate the elevator horns during the week #-o :roll: 8-[ Will fit today so I can finish linkages, set up and then close fuselage and cover it
