Position reports to: Accountable Manager Aircraft Maintenance Organisation
Minimum Requirements:
• South African Citizen;
• Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Must have a current South African AME licence with ratings to support the aircraft maintained by this company;
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer;
• Must have a current drivers licence;
• Own transport;
Additional Requirements:
• Have planning knowledge of the aircraft operated by this company;
• Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience at a similar level;
Key Performance Areas:
• Plan the aircraft maintenance with MCC / Planning;
• Complete work packs supplied by MCC for scheduled maintenance, and report defects to MCC.
• Work with Quality / Safety to close findings;
• Outgoing pleasant personality;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Good knowledge of Aviation terminology;
• Ability to work after hours and away from home for extended periods if required;
• Excellent command of the English language;
• Have excellent Communication Skills;
Appointment will be subject to a compulsory three-month probationary period with the promise of becoming a permanent position. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
