Aviation Ophthalmologist

Unread post by stransham » Tue Jun 14, 2016 8:51 am

Good day all,

Can anyone recommend a good ophthalmologist (eye doc) anywhere in SA one that has experience in dealing with pilots for a class 1 medical, and even CAA approved if that happens here?

Dr Taryn Mc Allister, She is based in Centurion at the Centurion Eye Hospital next to Unitas. She's really good and an FAA CPL.

Any recommendations in the CT area of an ophthalmologist? My condition? Look up CRVO. Having spoken to ophthalmologists, they scoff at some of the content on the internet so I dont take all the doom and gloom there to heart. I know though, I have a problem and am hopeful there's a way out.

Its in this field of expertise I require a "magician".

⏺ Respect for ourselves guides our morals; respect for others guides our manners.

▶️ Life isn't a dress rehearsal.

➡️ Try to learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
