DVT and Flying Medical

Unread post by Firedog » Wed Mar 27, 2019 6:07 pm

Has anyone on this forum been diagnosed with a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) before? After the 6 months treatment (and grounding) was your medical category re-instated? I need some advice because it seems that SACAA is even worse than what IAM used to be........

Hi Barney,
I suggest you google "sacaa dames guide". Click on link to download. Then look at page 166 for the DVT protocol your DAME will need to follow.

Regards
