Busy day today worked about 8 hrs. Prepared all the bottoms skins for the right wings. Not enough thinners so could not do the priming. Prepped all the parts for the two auxiliary tanks. Constructed same to ensure all parts fit correctly. Sent photos to the factory , need to know if the brackets are correct as the documentation is not good.

Need to decide on plumbing, facet pumps and sensors for both these tanks :D :D ...me too

Well spent the whole day doing one tank. Im sure that the next will go a lot quicker. There is no easy way to work with this tank Sealant, plenty gloves , Acetone , Patients and old clothes. Have the over flow to do and the fuel cap then onto the second tank. Might take the time to add some more sealant to the inside just in case.... :D :D מתגעגע אליך :D :D

Yesterday finished the left inboard tank and started on the right. Bent the overflow pipe work and finalised the level sensors on both tanks.

Today finished sealing tank 2 tomorrow we start on the auxiliary tanks. I have a new product arriving EC-766 which is a 3M product. This is a paint of sealing agent or a flushing solution whichever one want to use. There is NO damn chance that these tanks will leak. Going to test on the auxiliary tanks by using PRC then painting EC-766 then testing. Have faith..we shall see

So completed all the insides of all 4 tanks , just waiting for the auxiliary tanks to dry before I coat with EC-766. Going to seal up all the tanks and pressure test with air. I have faith. And hopefully that will be the end of the tanks and back to the wing, will be a huge milestone

One done 3 to go...5 days then the test in the meantime after tomorrow i can get back to the right wing and get those lower skins in place. I have two hatches to cut on the outboard skin, something the factory didnt plan for...How is one supposed to install the tanks or remove them if there is no access...duhhh. Have I missed something. So I was told to cut my own okiedokie...like i was told to cut off the tie down from the main spar.....well see about that [-X [-X

Boring more tanks, two done today one left for tomorrow. Started preparing the fittings for the landing lights, might get that done and dusted tomorrow.
Some parts arrived from the Sling Factory, much to my amazement we had to open all the boxes sent to find a small packet of goodies. Would of been nice if we were given a box number but suppose that was just too easy.

I have another list ready to send of missing items.....

So tomorrow finish the tanks, do the landing lights. Saturday Braai , Sunday Breakfast run ...need some time away from this build . Monday back full swing I hope...  remember when damn oh well. :D :D
