FAKD breakfast

Unread post by Terri » Wed Nov 20, 2013 12:39 pm

Good News!!!
Was at FAKD recently and the little terminal building has been turned into a coffee shop/resturant. Can only say good things about it!
Its appropriatly named touch and go. Fuel is available on the airfield for all of you that have never been to FAKD so the next time you want a $100 hamburger i would really recommend the place!

I have had breakfast there a few times, really nice, friendly people. I have often wondered why more people don't fly there for breakfast :?: sometimes I have been the only person there

Cheers, Don.

I flew there a month or so ago to go see a client. Afterwards we had lunch there. I agree, the people are friendly and the place is great. The owner's young son asked me if I could take him with to Lanseria, and it broke my heart to say I couldn't, unless his father went to fetch him there.

No intent to hijack the post - will definitely have b/fast there sometime. Potch is now also an option - they are open at the gliding clubhouse for breakfast. Come and enjoy some good value food and learn more about gliding if you want.

Forgot to mention - Potch only open for business on Saturdays. Might change to Saturdays and Sundays next year.
