Die kos was great.
Ek sal verseker weer Parys besoek.
Dankie julle!

We visited Parys on the 6th of January, the last visit to Parys for a while.

The service was slow, the breakfast took a while to appear and when the food arrived, it was cold.
The food poisoning the following day was an added bonus

Best I visited so far is phalala game lodge in Limpopo. Service is truly five star.

We also pulled past for breakfast on Sunday and it wasn't all that great, had a very sub-par omelette.

Hopefully they will up their game, great location.

I have been at Parys on numerous occasions and although the service is not the quickest. Parys serves a mean Burger Omelett! Well worth a visit, just have some patience and enjoy the morning.

What is the condition of the Runway like at Parys currently?

Due to go there on NavEx but nobody in the school has been there recently and there are muttering about the state of the runway....

The runway is ok. The beginning of of 06 could use some attention, it is a bit bumpy due to weeds coming through but unless you don't put it down on the threshold there's no issue.

Parys airfield has new owners. We would like to invite you to come and eat with us. We have a oxtail buffett on Dec 2. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Thanks,

The new owners are making a big effort. I had the nicest boerie roll there today. Price down and service up. Now that takes some doing. Well done! Fly or drive in and support their effort.
Ps the 06 runway has had some work done to it as well as the taxi way to avgas has been tarred.
