Taxi - exit on Alpha or Bravo, thereafter own discretion

Procedures - call inbound at the ATZ boundry (8nm) - from the South or East you'll probably be setup onto right base 05
North most likely right downwind 05

Obviously if the wind is Southerly expect left downwind or base 23

Don't approach from the west, I.E over Pilansburg Nature reserve

Sun City Shuttle - 014 557 3463

Bring your pilot licence with to Sun City, it gets you free entrance at the gate, if your pax are also pilots, tell them to bring theirs as well

Don't forget FAPN closes after sundown - you cannot land or takeoff - it is illegal

EDIT: File a flight plan - they've become sticky about this lately, especially if departing from a controlled airfield

Hi Guys,

Just checking if any new info/experiences related to FAPN. I am thinking of flying there middle June in a helicopter, and leaving it there for two nights:
1. Do they still have JetA1 (any availability issues?)? (I'll obviously call them the day before, but need to plan stuff now, hence my asking you guys)
2. Ok to leave aircraft there for couple days (secure, reasonably priced?)?
3. Any other "sticky" issues one should be aware of?

Thanks!
