Top 5 destinations for 2019

Unread post by Mustang » Mon Feb 04, 2019 5:23 pm

What is your top 5 destinations for 2019 to fly yourself (and perhaps your family) to for some hour building or a break away?

I am thinking:

From FATP to...
- George / Mosselbay
- Mazeppa Bay (fishing trip)
- Virginia airport: Umhlanga
- Bethlehem
- Parys

So many places - sol little Avgas

My 5 dream destinations to fly to:

Vilanculos - Islands, clear water, a bit of spearfishing and lots of snorkeling with the family.
Kasane - actually Katima would be better - but just the experience the thrill of hooking up a BIG Tiger. ( my son's favorite passtime...)
Malelane - short hop to Kruger camps, or Ngwenya or Marloth park. Wife prefer Ngwenya ........
Uys huis ( between Bethlehem and Clarens) - nice breakfast with a bit of padstal shopping added.
Leeupan - our family farm close to sentrum. To get away from everyone and some decent ME-time.

Ag I can add at least another 5 !!!!

Been to Vilancoulos, been to Kasane (and even caught a tiger), also been to Bilene in Mozambique.

This year? Would like to do a trip to Meob in Nam, and I usually go hunting where we land on a pan on the farmers property near Vosburg. Will fit in a couple of trips to Lambertsbay as I have interests down there and always love to fly into Stellenbosch at least once or twice a year.
