Hi Rajarad, glad to hear, what is the condition of the runway? I am flying there next week for a 7 day stay.

Lake Naverone (Or never one :D) is a fantastic mountain strip with amazing self-catering accommodation.

I last flew there 2 years back, one of the most picturesque fields I have been to. It is just NW of Himeville (which also has a great strip to fly into, then walk into town for breakfast). For first timers, it can be a notch intimidating as it is tucked into the mountains hence your circuits tend to be pretty tight below the mountains on either side. It is slightly boxed in on 3 sides, thus bordering on a one way in field depending on your winds and aircraft.

One of the top places to put on your bucket list
Privileged to have flown Cubby (ZU-CYB), Jabbie (ZU-JHF), Thunderbird (ZS-WPN, ZS-VWH), Samba XL (ZU-LAR), and C172 (ZS-JIM)
