The A350-1000 has just completed it's RTO, first flight imminent.

That engine is probably the same diameter as a B737 fuselage.

flew on Cathay Pacifics A350 900 last week , really quiet and impressive machine

B737 fuselage width = 3.76m
The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB fan diameter = 3.0m

Singapore is now flying the 900 on the joburg route. It is a nice aircraft to fly in.
The older I get, the more I am convinced that "A Confederacy of Dunces" is non fiction.
