Probably because CRJ fleet is grounded.
At least one CRJ, ZS-CMB has been flying recently between Cape Town and Hoedspruit. The rest don't seem to have been doing much.

MIAP,

Perhaps you would be well advised to pay attention to what you post on a public media.....
You are skirting a line that may land you in trouble

A tad more careful ?? ..... you may be asked to back up statements - in court !!

I heard from one of my SAX contacts that the CRJ700 (and I assume 900) is a completely different animal to the CRJ100/200 and that at SAX, both 700's are up and running while there is some hardware and software upgrade for the CRJ200, which costs approximately R1mil per aircraft, which is required to get them released to service. I can only assume Cemair would face the same hiccup. He did say what it was, but I can't remember whether it was ACAS or GPWS.

Thanks that’s a week old. Apparently there’s been a grounding of the CRJ fleet although I don’t see any statement from either Cemair or CAA.

So only unsubstantiated nonsense that supports your preferred narrative is ok? There'd be little left once all the perception and agendas are removed.
It's easy to play the man, more difficult to address the topic but that seems SOP these days.

The fact that SAX also seems to have a very few CRJ 200s flying points to what Arthur has said, what it could be is a SB or avionics software upgrade that is due specifically on the CRJ, and possibly due to the time of year, parts/expertise availability there is a delay doing this.
