Wife arrives at airport on Monday morning for a SAX flight to Durban. She was already through security and then told, sorry flight cancelled (not delayed). Alternatives offered would only get her to Durban on Monday night and too late to attend her meetings.
Don’t take things for granted… Tomorrow is not promised.

So I got in from Nairobi on time, check in for SA1011 departing at 14H50. Get to the gate and there is a delay as the SA Express flight scheduled for 12H00 was cancelled due to technical problems and the passengers have to be transferred onto the 14H50 flight. Delay of 45 minutes but at least we got to Bloemfontein. A bit of a worry though as the Kimberly flight also got cancelled due to technical issues. Two flights cancelled in one day due to technical problems?

I've said it before and I will say it again..., just book on Airlink. They never cancel and are almost always on time.

Unfortunately my company books my flights and I have no say in the matter.

Say thank You for the technical cancelled flights, or go and become a statistic.

Hugo.
I am gratefull, please dont get me wrong. I am just worried about the frequency of cancelled or delayed flights at SA Express.
Couple of moths ago we were taken off 3 flights that got cancelled due to technical issues. The last cancelled flight we were taxing out and had to turn around and go back to the bay. 30 minutes we were back in the terminal.
Was supposed to depart at 06H00 and got home after 19H00.
I got moved from one flight to the next and eventually got a flight that actually took off.

If this is not a indication that there may be a serious problem at the airline then what is?

Siza Mzimela says her On Time Performance is better than 90%. Anyone able to confirm?
Guy, in your interview with her Siza indicated that SAX would be profitable (or breakeven?) by 31 March 2019 - have you subsequently verified this commitment with her?

SAX's on-time-performance at all ACSA airports for March 2019 - 71.66% - bottom of the pile

And who in the company is eventually responsible for the on-time delivery of your project - the booking clerk?
