Fuselage Repair

Unread post by AllanHiggs » Mon Sep 04, 2017 8:08 am

Hi.
I just baught a Airwolf fuse and had alot of fun putting her toghether until I noticed a couple of hairline cracks at the tail end around a couple of tiny screw holes. My guess is that the gell coating cracked when the holes were drilled at the factory and im pretty sure these cracks will get worse over time when flying. Im very new to the hobby and kind off jumped in the deepend starting with scale. I would apppreciate some advice from the experts here on repairing this without comprimising the look of the fuse.

it will not stop it from cracking in other places in the future, it should just however bind the cracks now and fill them. Do not use cyno kicker to set it faster, just let it set by itslef.

Never posted an update on my Airwolf project. The advice I got on this forum helped a ton.
