I dont like going there...........every time I do it costs me money 
Have to agree though, great service. Al mixed more oil into my DF glow fuel at no extra cost, wonder if other hobby shops in JHB would do the same, somehow I doubt it.

I would like to say thanks to everyone who helped out with looking for a hobby shop. I landed up going to Al's Hobbies and can not say I was disappointed. Juanita helped me with everything I needed, even the item they did not have in stock was ordered and I collected the following day.
Can't say I could get any better or friendlier service anywhere.

Visited on Saturday to pick up control lines he made for me. Also mixed me some diesel fuel, started my PAW diesel, and showed me the ins and outs of diesels. Thanks Allan

can attest, really a great shop!
Had an issue with a plane I bought (ESC), got hold of the owner through this great forum & it was resolved without a single hick-up.
Definitely worth the travel time for me to support them!
They got my vote for best customer service!
