SCAM ALERT: JOHAN LOUIS BURGER

Unread post by StuartKirby » Sat Jun 15, 2019 12:46 pm

I wanted a DLE 40 Twin motor. Was contacted by this scammer. He contacted me personally, I paid him and he promised that the motor was despatched from Bloemfontein via UTI Sun Couriers on Thursday. Surprise, surprise. When I tried to get the weighbill or tracking number he disappeared off the face of the earth. He read the WhatsApp message but never responded. Please be vigilant guys.

It is there and yet 2 or 3 avcommers fell for his scam! That's why I voted to collapse the sections.
Due to the price increase in ammunition, do not expect a warning shot.

Sig Sauer, kinda like Glock except for men.

Gentlemen my 2 cents worth! If you cannot drive to what is forsale in a 2 hour radius don’t buy!!!!
I believe in inspect and collect!!!
No disrespect to all those ligit sellers and buyers but unfortunately we do have those people that strive on making easy money for no effort at all and unfortunately we do have those that the hobby stairs them blind in the face to buy items that they have never lied their eyes on and get caught!

Not neccesarily. I depends more on how you research the seller. I hav spent a lot of money on transactions advertised on Avcom and to date I have not lost one cent due to scammers. If I know I am going to pay good money then I first go read up on the seller, how long has he been here, how many items have he advertised here and have anybidy had bad dealings with him. If I find any problems I move on. I typically avoid the seller that registered his account the day he places his first ad. And I never pay via e-wallet, ever.

Be that as it may, this thread is in the wrong section. Like my cry for help was the other say and I ended up being stoned in the local square......

Mods, Roger....., please move this to where it belongs.

Toys Heineman, toys.....

Not neccesary to throw them out the cot.

If you were a mod then you could have a, Moved the thread to where it should be. b, Ban the person who dared create a thread in the wrong section. c. Dish out penalties to everyone who dared post on the incorrectly placed thread.

So far the mods have not done that.

And you are not a mod so you really cannot do anything about it except become seriously sarcastic towards us who dare post here.

We had a nice tiff on the thread I created in the wrong section a couple of days ago. Are you going to have another here as well?
