This is a very hard hit - close friends for about 25 years. Got the call earlier from Roger. I have phoned a number of friends and shared the news, but I am feeling so empty. Rest In Peace Chris. I will look after your beloved RV that I have owned now for the last two years.

Strongs to Denise and the kids and grandchildren. We were so privileged to have you visit us in January here at Boggies. :( :( :(

I was so shocked to receive this terrible news. I have known Chris since 1995 and spoke with him yesterday. My sincere condolences to Denise and the rest of his family. He served the wider aviation community for many years and especially Algoa Flying Club and SAPFA rally and precision flying. My thoughts and prayers are also with Roger and Nicky and Jan and the other pilots that knew Chris.

RIP dear Chris, absolute terrible news.

I have the fondest and endearing memories of him during my time as Race Director of the PTAR....
Whenever the arguments and atmosphere got heated he always lent me his ear had a calming voice and mature opinion.
Farewell my dear friend, so sad.
