The first one you looked at is for FPV (First Person View) flying where you wear goggles and fly through hoops and such. Takes a lot of expertise and practice.
The second one is very good for general flying and high end photogography and video. DJi are the leaders as far as I am concerned.
Decide what you want to do with a drone. If you want to do photography, then the DJi range is excellent. If you want to just generally do some "park" flying then the cheaper range will do. Just make yourself familiar with the drone laws and what is termed as a "drone" and what is termed as a "toy".
The DJi's are very high end (hence the the very high price) but are worth it to the serious drone flyer and amature photographer. I have the Phantom 3 Professional and am an amature photographer.

I am brand new to the Drone "thing" but not in aviation, however testing the water, and to learn from the professionals

A) for a qualified drone pilot with a RPL (commercial) ONLY, obtained from a reputable school, will one be on your way to employment, by a legal operating company or is there some additional qualifications to get, i.e.,
1) operating certificates,
2) air service licence,
3)cert of registration,
4) obviously point 1 to 3 come at a additional cost, approximately how much

B) I am looking at buying a DJI Maverick 2 pro, would this be good to do property photo's and video,
to be able to fly is a wonderful privilege =D>

No there's no work in SA the industry is over regulated fine tuned to benefit just a select few (like many things owned by government in SA)

You'll get many pats on the back and deep staring smiles from those knowing the truth, but wants to make money by making you run around to get all the paperwork in order, but after that, you'll be left in free space without a space shuttle bringing you home.

There is 30 odd companies and many hundreds pilots duped into obtaining their certificate by the promise of the "forbidden land" just to find there's no work, overseas is a different story, but to get there and find the job is a complete different can of worms.

Good luck. you're going to need it.

My advice.
Dot't buy cheap. Cheap drones fly like cr@p and will discourage you. Buy at least the cheapest DJi product, or Yuneeq if you hate DJI, but don't buy cheap stuff.
If you fly a good drone, you will see how easy these can fly, and then move on to bigger stuff.

How about starting out by reading the regulations and requirements for drone operations?
Sure, it's a less popular form of knowledge than seeing what tech you can buy but you may just learn something.
