Jabiru Jaunt 28 & 29 April 2017

Unread post by jjt1101 » Wed Sep 28, 2016 8:48 am

For those who have to plan now already for beyond 2020, you can open your diary so long @ April 2017 and highlight the following dates:
27th - Arrival
28th - Jaunt/program
29th - Jaunt/program
30th - Departure
At the same time also do make sure that your GPS has been set up to accept the Airspan (close to Rustenburg) coordinates under the "go to" option.
Airspan has got a 900 m runway with a huge hanger and lots of parking!
Note the Thursday 27/04/17 and the Monday 01/05/2017 are both public holidays in SA...so plenty time to dodge the weather.
We are planning a massive get together and to top it off, plenty of accommodation close by.
More details will be communicated as time goes.
Hope this posting will settle the nerves...or some at least

Well done Sias!

Come on boys and girls, clear those dates on your calendars RIGHT NOW!

Do what I have just done, it went on my digital diary and I actually tear out those pages in my 2017 diary so that it is impossible to schedule anything else for those dates

I am afraid, nothing, as our friend Sias seems to be up to his ears in work (don't know if it is good or bad) but has shelved the 2017 Jaunt according to his post under Events in the GA section. Anyone willing to take the hat and organise something as most of us probably already reserved the dates in our diaries? Would be a shame to waste the opportunity, wouldn't it?
