#-o #-o #-o #-o

=D> Ek hoor jou !!

No, I do not think that the club should be exclusively restricted to Jabiru owners, the biggest Ferrari supporters do not own a Ferrari :!:

A nominal annual fee to cover admin costs should give you membership, with access to the "goody catalogue". The newsletter is right here on Avcom!

From some experience folks in this space, you almost certainly need to get the OK from Jabiru to use their logo, it's probably copyrighted.

You may need to think about the implications of being affiliated or being perceived as being affiliated with the manufacturer as opposed to being an independent Jab owners and enthusiasts club. Also, if you collect funds you are getting into the domain of legislation relating to Section 21 (non profit) companies, tax returns, registration and all the related embuggerance.

It may well be better to start off as a simple and informal entity.

Thanks Nick, you are 100% correct. I think for just that reason Ben Smit has advised us to keep it informal. We will just have a small members contribution to cover something towards our admin lady!

For anything else it will be once-offs.....
