And we're settling into May 2016…any idea when the ILS will finally be promulgated and active...anyone? Opsmike?

Thanks guys...Jeeez but these things move slowly, I seem to recall 'early 2015' but still very pleased it's going ahead!

It does take time to get the charts tested and approved, only then can you publish but we are on track

Really?? Last couple of approaches I've made into FALA the ILS has been very stable and looks perfectly aligned with the PAPI's.

The ILS is reported to be working very well. The procedures that enable it to be legally used have not yet been approved & published.
This is out of Lanseria's hands to a very large extent.

ZS-CAR was doing some missed approaches 2 or so weeks ago.
Thought they may have been tesing out the ILS ?

Used the ILS (VMC and second pilot up front) on Thursday...ILS working beautifully. Any update on publication??
