IFR EMERGENCY ON THE GO-AROUND @FAPE

Unread post by Foil Cakes » Tue Nov 15, 2016 10:37 am

I've recently started videoing and recording as much of my IFR training flights as possible getting fellow pilots to tag along and record as well. It serves as a good training aid, being able to go back and see/hear where you went wrong.

This day, the cameras were on and we had managed to capture the emergency from my mounted action camera as well as my fellow pilot and friend Vernon Els sitting at the back recording most of the audio and video just after the sudden loss and drop in power.

You can find my initial Debrief/Report on the flight in the video description. I decided to put together this video in addition to the debrief for my own personal learning purposes and hope others can learn from it too.

Nice video.

How did you do the animation and sync it with the video?
