I think with some improvements on the main rotor aerodynamic/design less tailrotor input will be needed, I think. Maybe that's the idea of this DART's funny looking blades.. I'm looking forward to see this machine in action! About time for some competition for Robinson, it will only do the industry good!..
As long as the price is right

Ye, and its also only a concept schetch. The end product will look way different, I think.

The helo industry is ripe for a newcomer in this class..

I was talking about its size in relation to the entire vertical stab.

They had to make the Main rotor like that (shorter) not to touch the tail.
You can also hover closer to the cliffs when you do mountain rescues.

You're assuming anyone would want to deploy one in that role.
Since Diamond was bought out by a Chinese company it will be interesting to see what actually materialises..

I asked them about the progress on the Dart 280 this morning and only got a "no comment" from them! 8-[

Chinese means money for r&d, and they want Jet fuel trainers and aircraft! Hopefully its still in the pipeline!

And its about time for a good Robo alternative! Let's wait and see..

The spec of that aircraft way surpasses a robbo, I don't see any rigid head aircraft with swept blades coming close in price. Imho
