Helicopter Industry right now in South Africa

Unread post by shsh_gaurav » Sat Oct 26, 2019 7:33 pm

HI, I am a management consultant conducting a study on the current single, light engine helicopter market in South Africa. My questions are:

1. What are the current market dynamics in the helicopter industry?
a. Are there any distinct dynamics in the light single market compared to the industry overall?
i. Within the light single market, are there specific trends or dynamics in the utility space?
ii. Within the light single market, are there specific trends or dynamics in the corporate space?

2. What are some factors that are driving growth in the light single market?
a. [example]: Aging fleets, significant new technology updates to avionics
3. What are some, if any, factors that are inhibiting growth in the light single market?
a. [example]: weak currency, pre-owned market, extended aviation life span

I would also be happy to jump on a short phone call to provide more context. Your help is greatly appreciated.
