I have a question regarding the transition from 210 knots at 15 DME on the STAR to 180 knots on the localiser. Imagine a scenario where our vectors do not include any speed instructions, at what point on the arrival does the radar controller expect us to start slowing down to meet the 180 knot requirement? Slowing down too late will obviously cause us to catch the traffic ahead. Likewise, slowing down too early will bunch up the traffic behind us.

The 210kts on the star is a MAX. ATC will tell you if they want anything different.
