Correct, the sister ship of the one at George.

Build by Jab Auz as a proving bed for getting production certificate. The same task being undertaken here.

Not quite the same scenario as here..... In Aus, the factory cannot build you a 4-seater - you have to owner build it in compliance with their law. The factory will only build you a 2-seater (even a J230)

There are external companies in Aus that will help you with an "owner assist" program to comply with the 51% rule...

In South Africa, there is no limitation in this regard and hence Jabiru SA can build any model for a client and that is why Jab Sa are working hard to get it type accepted here.

The twin in Australia was not built by Jabiru and will not follow any certification program there, but privately built and owned as follows:- (Extrated from the youtube flight opening screen)

Steve you are correct in what you are saying.

Just for your info though:
Ben is also correct in that, that Twin is indeed the twin of our local Twin with some very small tweaks  . Jamie Cook is indeed with Jabiru Australia and also visited George with Sue last year to have a look at the Twin and also the J430s destined for the American market. I think they call it a owner build for the reasons you mentioned. They only now started their test flying program and the local twin is now almost through the program. As soon as all the insurance criteria with the test pilot have been met, the program will continue. Will be soon!

I also heard a little birdie whistle that with the new VERY strong Rond it may very well just be cheaper to build all Jabs in SA. Would that not be nice should it happen??????

Unfortunately twice as hard to build, with two engines made out of unobtanium.

Is that a Scorpion theme paint scheme?

A very practical and safe little plane I think..
