Jabbie invasion - Vryheid fly-in 20 -22 May

Unread post by crazeeflya » Fri Apr 01, 2016 10:57 am

Greetings fellow Jabbanaughts
This is not a Jabbie only fly-in, but as a die-hard fan of the type, I reckon a strong showing at my home club will be awesome to brag about!!
I will be throwing the gaunlet down to the Sling boys
The weekend is great value - note ALL beers and cooldrinks and food (professionally catered) is included.

And if you can cobble a squadron of 10 Jabs to get airborne as soon as you can see the runway stripes...and land 1st, you have a FREE weekend for each PIC!!!

Pictures of our clubhouse interior and field amenities to be posted on monday

Hi Craig,

Robbie and I are intending to fly in early Saturday morning and out again on Sunday ZU-FGK UL120 & ZU-FXC J170 weather permitting of course, might even try tenting under the wings  Will we be able to get a few liters of Avgas for Robbies UL120?

Cheers, Don.

Hey Don
Hope you don't forget to invite me 8-[
Will join you for Saturday fly in and then out on Sunday.
Newcastle is not far and has Avgas, I will need to stop there.
Have a new under wing tent I bought for the Potties flyin.

Cheers
Dak

Hi Don, apologies for late reply (been out of office).

There will be plentiful AVGAS on site at price at most equivalent to Newcastle - we are working on a deal to offer a sweet price - this will be confirmed later should we succeed.

Well Gents, thats 5 Jabs including mine on this post alone, thank you!!

Come on the rest of you - bear in mind there is plentiful B&B accomm for those who would prefer comfort for the softness. Free shuttles to town and back.

Sounds great Craig. I'll be there in my jab. But I'm busy building a sling so I'm a real "draad sitter"!

Well spotted as usual David 8)

Now usually I do not discriminate as to cause hurt feelings, so ordinary I would say that I would take both, but the guys in there look a bit big so I might get klapped!

So we will stay in "eye candy" mode.

Really a nice looking place. Need to visit sometime, but will not make it this time around :(
